"Hi! I’m a professional actor and teaching artist with an MFA in Acting, an MA in Educational Theatre, and nearly two decades of experience teaching and performing across the U.S. I’m a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association, and my work spans classical and contemporary theatre, regional productions, and musical theatre. I also have a background in vocal coaching and piano, and I love helping students find freedom and authenticity through text, music, and character.
I work with actors of all levels — from passionate beginners to pre-professionals — and I bring a warm, neurodivergent-friendly approach to every session. My teaching is rooted in the Demidov Technique, a revolutionary method that helps actors respond truthfully and spontaneously, rather than overthinking or forcing results. We work together to quiet the inner critic — that voice in your head judging your every move — and instead trust your subconscious, where true creative freedom lives. The result is greater emotional connection, ease, and confidence whether you’re onstage or on camera.
In addition to Demidov-based process work, I draw on classical acting traditions, and when helpful, incorporate tools from Fitzmaurice voicework and movement practices like Viewpoints and Williamson. My coaching is fully tailored to each student’s needs — whether you’re preparing a monologue or audition, building foundational skills, or reconnecting to your artistry. I typically work with monologues and scenes brought by the student, though I’m happy to make recommendations based on your goals.
If you’re ready to grow as an actor and feel more at home in your work, I’d love to support you. Feel free to reach out — I look forward to meeting you!" less...
