My name is Gunta. Unusual name? Yes, it is! That's because I come from a small country in Northern Europe - Latvia. I have loved Math as long as I can remember. My mom was very good at it and while helping me, she made it fun. In High School I was lucky to have a Math teacher who was very passionate and dedicated to his students. He always made sure that everyone understood each lesson and nobody was left behind. And I try to do the same for my students.

I graduated from the Latvia University with Masters degree in Math and Economics in 1983. After college I worked as a computer programmer and web designer. However, my real passion is working with kids. I have been HS Math Tutor in a small country school for several years now, and it is the best job!
