"Hello Everyone, I'm Farwa.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Michigan and am studying to become a dentist. For the past nine years, I’ve tutored middle and high school students in subjects like Algebra I and II, Pre-Calculus, Geometry, and SAT Math. I have worked with college students to prepare for exams and complete online assignments. I’ve also helped students with natural and physical sciences, and I’ve taken exams like the TEAS test and DANB. Additionally, I co-taught High School Literature and an IB Business Course.

I was not always an academically competitive student. I understand the feeling of being stuck or hopeless, and I’ve helped many students and friends improve their grades, even close to the end of the semester. My approach focuses on breaking material down into manageable pieces and building confidence. Hard work and goal-orientation led me to achieve a 33 on the ACT, earn a 90% tuition scholarship, and secure an IB Diploma. I believe anyone can succeed with the right mindset, effort, and plenty of support.

My lessons are designed to reinforce foundational skills and help students grow in a comfortable, comprehensive way. I make sure students understand material, and regularly check in to ensure they feel confident before moving forward.

For standardized test prep and long-term progress, I include assessments and practice assignments in my curriculum. I also offer support for homework over text, so students can get help in between lessons and meet deadlines.
