"Hi, I’m Jennifer! I hold a Master’s degree in Gifted Education from Hardin-Simmons University and am a certified math teacher with 12 years of classroom experience. I have taught in Texas and have extensive experience working with both junior high and high school students. Throughout my career I’ve taught 6th–8th Grade Math, Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra 2 — in both academic level and honors level courses — and I’m very familiar with helping students master state-based standards and prepare for success on TEKS-aligned expectations such as STAAR.

In addition to teaching, I’ve spent several years tutoring students both one-on-one and in small groups, specializing in Algebra. I love helping students make sense of algebraic concepts and building their confidence through clear explanations and targeted practice.
