"Hello! I’m Jessica, and I’m excited to help students succeed in algebra and math.

I graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in General Biology and a 3.81 GPA, earning Dean’s List honors every year. My coursework included advanced science subjects like neuroscience, biochemistry, and organic chemistry, which strengthened my math skills—especially in algebra and problem solving.

I have four years of tutoring experience (2017–2021), working one-on-one with middle and high school students in math and reading. In college, I also served as a peer facilitator, where I helped lead study sessions and supported classroom instruction. These roles gave me hands-on teaching experience in both individual and group settings, allowing me to answer questions, clarify complex concepts, and help students build confidence in challenging subjects.

I specialize in algebra and foundational math skills. My teaching approach is patient, adaptable, and focused on meeting each student where they are. I aim to make math approachable by tailoring lessons to individual learning styles and encouraging active engagement.
