"I have a DMD and PhD in dentistry (magna cum laude) and practiced as a dentist for 10 years in Germany. When my family moved to the United States in 2021, my German license wasn't recognized here, so I shifted direction and discovered my passion for teaching. Since October 2024, I've been tutoring Anatomy & Physiology students at Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon.

Why I love tutoring A&P: I'm fascinated by how the human body works, and I believe a solid understanding of anatomy and physiology is essential for anyone pursuing a healthcare career. My background gives me a unique perspective—I've applied this knowledge in clinical practice for a decade, so I know what's truly important and how it all connects.

My teaching approach: I meet students where they are and guide them through challenging material at their own pace. I value "productive struggle"—giving you time to work through problems while providing support along the way. One technique I emphasize is drawing anatomical structures yourself. Creating your own visuals with labels and notes (you'd be surprised how much you can fit on one page!) is a powerful way to understand relationships between body systems.
