I earned a BA in Psychology from Florida State University and graduated magna cum laude (with high honors). I chose psychology because I wanted to understand human beings! (We’re complicated :)

Later I earned an MA in Counseling Psychology from Lesley University with a specialization in guidance counseling for grades 5-12, because I wanted to provide support and guidance for young people in those critical years.

Since finishing graduate school, my curiosity has led me in several other directions. For example, I earned my Permaculture Design Certificate from Regenerative Design Institute (Bolinas, CA) in a two week course called “Peacemaking and Permaculture”. In 2016 I decided to start a “forest kindergarten” in Asheville NC. I attended the Forest Kindergarten Teacher Training (Levels 1 and 2) at the Academy of Forest Kindergarten Teachers in Santa Barbara, CA. Starting that forest kindergarten was an amazing experience!

I have lots of experience with ages 3-18 but I enjoy supporting people of all ages in all sorts of ways, with all sorts of subjects. I’m all-around intelligent and proficient in many subjects.
