"Hi there! My name is Eden, and I have a passion for helping students to feel empowered and confident in their writing abilities. I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the American College of Greece with a BA in Visual Art, and I am currently enrolled in the MFA program for Textile Art at the University of Georgia. I began tutoring in College Essay Writing, English, and Art History in 2021, and have continued to do so for the last 4 years, helping countless students to improve their essays, build communication skills, and push past the crippling fear that writing can cause in many students. Some things I’ve heard quite often from students when facing writing assignments have been, “but I’m not good at writing” or “I just can’t do it”. If you have ever felt that way before, I am here to help! There is nothing I love more than giving students that feel this way the tools and support needed to develop both their confidence and their writing skills.
While I have worked with a range of ages of students, my specialty is ELA and Writing for 7th grade through college level students. I have also worked extensively with adult learners who are going back to school later in life and am well equipped to help in that journey. I am passionate about writing because I believe it is extremely important. In writing we learn to comprehend, interpret, and synthesize information, while at the same time understanding how to organize and interpret our own thoughts. I strongly believe that regardless of your intended field, being able to comprehend, analyze, write, and communicate effectively will always lead to greater success, and I want every student to be able to have that power accessible to them." less...
