"I have 27 years of experience in high school classroom teaching and private tutoring. I have degrees in Psychology and in Mathematics from Purdue University. My Master’s degree is in Secondary Education from Northern Arizona University. I am a certified teacher and a mother of three.

My students describe me as patient, kind, and caring. I am an excellent communicator and I have a knack for helping students grasp difficult concepts. I do this by increasing student confidence and by taking things slowly and in manageable steps.

I am a certified yoga instructor and I have eight years of experience leading meditation, breath work, and addiction recovery classes. I can assist students with their anxiety and their potential dread of math. I am a spiritual person and, if you choose, I can incorporate meditation and spirituality into our tutoring sessions in order to help students focus and take steps towards becoming the best versions of themselves.

When a student is confident in school, he or she is able to excel outside of the classroom, as well. We all have different talents and skill sets; math is not everyone’s favorite subject. I can help you learn how to approach math and make it less stressful and more enjoyable.
