I worked as a Writing Tutor at community colleges from November 2015 to June 2018 and June 2023 to April 2024. I now tutor online. I have provided one-on-one and small group tutoring to students (in-person and virtually) in English, literature, and cross-curricular writing intensive courses, exit-from-remediation exam preparation, and all writing-related coursework. I have tutored a variety of writing assignments including narrative, research, and persuasive essays; college application and transfer essays; reviews; journals; cover letters; resumes; and more. I can assist with all parts of the writing process including brainstorming, drafting, revising, and polishing the final draft.

As a tutor, my goal is to help my students become better writers.
