"I'm an English as a Second Language teacher with over 8 years of experience teaching adults from ages 17 to 80. I specialize in helping people who are struggling to speak in English and giving them the confidence to speak fluently. I'm also great at explaining complicated grammar concepts in an easy, clear way. Above all, I believe that learning should be a fun and engaging experience. I love my job and I gain a lot of joy in seeing my students improve and achieve their language goals. I'm able to help with speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, fluency, vocabulary, and proofreading.

I have a bachelors degree in anthropology with additional graduate studies in linguistics and teaching. I also have a TEFL certification. Additionally, I am a life-long learner and always participate in additional professional development in order to improve my teaching skills. My teaching experience includes 2 years of work in Argentina and 6 years of work in the Washington, D.C. area. I currently work for a Public Charter School in D.C. My work experience includes teaching in-person as well as virtually.
