"Greetings! My name is Jaeheon, and I am currently a junior pursuing a computer science and mathematics degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology. I have tutored for 4+ years, helping countless students to achieve not only better grades but also to develop deep understanding and intuition in their subjects. I am a National Merit Finalist and scholarship recipient, and I have received awards for mathematics and physics during my time as a high school student. I have tutored students in math at all levels, from prealgebra and geometry to college-level multivariable calculus and linear algebra.

But I wasn’t born with my expertise. I remember studying for the SAT during high school, sometimes struggling for hours on elementary topics. My relationship with this subject only changed as I began to treat math as a puzzle, not a process. I believe many students view math as a set of equations to be memorized and a never-ending sequence of mind-numbing rote computation. In reality, mathematics is a journey of discovery and wonder. Through my lessons, I aim to impart an intuitive and complete understanding of the subject, eliminating frustration and giving you the tools to tackle more advanced topics independently.

In addition, I have several years of experience programming in Java, Javascript, Python, and several other popular programming languages. I am certified in Java by Oracle and have built many full-scale projects. I would be happy to provide tutoring in elementary and advanced computer science courses such as AP Computer Science A and AP Computer Science Principles.
