"Hi there, I’m Kristen! I earned my undergraduate degree from Edinboro University of PA and my master’s from Indiana University of PA. Both of my degrees are in Secondary Education - Mathematics. I have a current teaching certification in secondary education mathematics, which is grades 7-12.

In my 8 years of teaching experience, I have taught a wide range of content areas from middle school to high school. This includes PreAlgebra, Algebra 1, Geometry, College Algebra, and Mathematics 8. While teaching these subjects, I have helped students in other classes as well.

Through my teaching experience, I have learned how to differentiate the materials to meet a student’s specific needs and abilities and help improve their comprehension of the material. I enjoy coming up with new and exciting ways to help students learn while keeping content aligned with the subjects curriculum. During my teaching career, I have tutoring multiple students to help them find success in their abilities and their class.
