"I come from a long line of educators. Having graduated summa cum laude from UC Berkeley and then gone on to earn a teaching certificate and two masters degrees, I feel confident that I can help students of all ages and from all walks of life: I have taught at the elementary, junior high, high school, and college levels, and have served districts as a language learning specialist, department chair and English and World Language Instructor. I value building strong relationships with each student and my teachers who most inspired me as a student serve as my current role models: they were accessible, available, provided ample feedback, and weren't afraid to change courses as my needs evolved. Just as important, they were receptive to the feedback that I gave them.

I have successfully tutored children and adults since 2006 and in helping people reach their educational goals, I am encouraging and non-judgmental.
