"I love learning languages, and I’ve naturally picked up four: Modern Standard Arabic, Berber, French, and English. Teaching students from diverse backgrounds has been incredibly rewarding for me. When it comes to learning a new language, I believe a personalized approach combining the Communicative Approach with a genuine desire to learn works best.
Just being in a place where the language is spoken isn’t enough. You need to pay attention to how native speakers communicate, you need to have the intention to learn that language. This applies whether you’re learning remotely, in a class, or with a tutor. If you really want to speak the language, actively listen, note new words, and practice using them. if you focus only on communicating your ideas, the learning process will be slower than the one implemented in the first case.
In my experience, intentionally learning how others speak is the most effective way to learn a new language. Over the past 12 years, this approach has helped my students improve their speaking, listening, and overall learning abilities without feeling overwhelmed.
Growing up in Morocco, which is culturally and linguistically diverse, I learned how speaking the language of others open doors to better communicate with them and better understand them.
I have a Master’s degree in Teaching French as a second language in a multicultural environment and a Bachelor’s degree in Islamic Studies.
Between 2012 and 2024 I worked in French Academy in DC, King Abdullah Academy in Herndon VA, and in the elementary public school in Morocco.
I taught student from different background and different levels. I taught pre-K12 students in Morocco and in the United States, and I also taught adults in the Washington DC area in addition to my online students.
Feel free to reach out if you’d like to discuss your goals or have questions about my classes. I’d be happy to help you make significant progress in your language learning journey! :)" less...
