"Hi there! I'm Tiffany, and I am a current fourth-year medical student at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine. I hold a B.S. in forensic science and an M.S. in physiology. I have been a private tutor for over 10 years in addition to working as a tutor and teaching assistant on campus. I love being able to help students make connections between concepts and have the confidence to solve problems on future homework assignments and assessments.

As a medical student, I have maintained a high degree of scholarship as evidenced by ranking in the top quartile of my class. In addition, I passed both Step 1 and Level 1 on the first attempt, scored 263 on Step 2 and 728 on Level 2 (98th percentile), and scored between 90-98th percentile on each COMAT subject exam.

For high school and undergraduate students, I specialize in general chemistry, chemistry for non-science majors, and analytical chemistry. I have experience in test preparation for both AP Biology and AP Chemistry.

For elementary and middle school age children, I have experience tutoring math, reading and writing skills, and science. I can assign extra work for students to complete in order to solidify their understanding of key concepts, and am able to provide feedback to both the parent and the student through progress reports and assessments. It is important to me that anyone I tutor has a complete understanding of a concept before moving on and building upon said concept.

I prefer to tutor at a library or other public place if in person, or online through Wyzant. As a courtesy, a cancellation fee will be assessed if the student is more than 15 minutes late for a scheduled lesson.
