I am an experienced and licensed tutor with twenty-five years of teaching experience. I have a high success rate with the students I tutor and have worked with all ages, from pre-K to adult. I have taught grades K through 12 remedial reading, writing and English as a Second Language. I am enthusiastic, caring and a very hard worker.

My background and teaching certifications allow me to successfully teach reading comprehension, phonics and writing skills. I have taught young children how to read and write and have counseled high school students on how to write those very important college application essays.

Speaking French is a passion of mine and I love teaching it as well. I lived and studied in France and have a Bachelor of Arts degree and certifications in the French language. My Master of Arts degree is in Curriculum and Instruction for Elementary Education. I am very familiar with the Common Core curriculum. I will individualize my instruction to meet each student's needs and develop an academic plan for success.
