"I have a PhD in Organic Chemistry and additional training in Polymer Chemistry. For over 20 years I have been a college faculty teaching Organic Chemistry I, Organic Chemistry II, General Chemistry I, General Chemistry II, one-semester Elementary Organic Chemistry, as well as Bio-Organic Chemistry, Polymer Chemistry, and graduate glasses.

I believe that anyone can learn if one is personally interested in the subject. My role as a teacher is to inspire students' interest in the subject, to create a productive learning environment, and to guide them on their way to mastering the subject.

I will not tell you the answers, but I will teach you how to approach and solve problems, so you can have the satisfaction of arriving at the answer yourself, as well as the understanding of the concepts involved.

I tutor both online and in-person. I can meet you in a public or college library, coffee shop, or another mutually convenient location.
