"Community education has long been a passion of mine. I worked in hi-tech/corporate sectors where I designed and delivered analytical presentations, cognitive and skill-based training workshops; with proven success, I effectively tutored professional staff in a variety of changing technologies and scientific skill-sets.

After 20 years, I pivoted toward my other aspiration: education. I've since worked as an Science Enrichment Teacher, Outdoor Guide, Interpretive Specialist, School and Home Tutor. I've tutored Grade 1 to college, and adult professionals. While I love math and science, I assist in all academic subjects; including test preparation (CAASPP), and math sections in support of skilled-trade certifications. I emphasize individual successes, so students feel proud and motivated by their accomplishments.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Hawaii, Manoa and a Master of Public Health degree from California State University, Northridge, specializing in education.
