"I am a geology student, tutor, researcher, and naturalist living in southern California. I have served as a TA and tutored students through the school and privately at Saddleback and Citrus Colleges, as well as at my own school CSUF. I encourage students to think critically and understand the material presented, rather than simply memorizing information. The ability to reason through a scientific question to find the answer is always more helpful than simply knowing any individual answer. I like to build on what people already know when trying to teach them more. My strongest subject, Geology, is very visual, and I like to show students images, diagrams, and real examples to help them understand the concepts of various geological sciences.
