"I'm Modjeska (Muh-JES-kuh), and I'm a character designer, prop designer, and illustrator currently living and working in Atlanta! I most recently worked as a Lead Character and Prop Designer on FXX's Archer at Floyd County Productions and and have previously been a Character Designer, Illustrator, and Layout Artist for clients such as Marvel, Comedy Central, and The Jim Henson Company. In my 6+ years of professional experience, I've come to really enjoy guiding working artists and students to where their strengths can be nurtured and utilized to their fullest!

I graduated with honors from the University of Arizona with a BFA in Visual Communications with an Illustration emphasis in 2015, and I left my desert home to work Georgia where I've been ever since! I enjoy practicing a lot of variety and versatility in illustration, design, animation, comics, painting, and sculpture, and like to spend my free time learning new skills and experimenting.

As a Lead Designer, I have experience in teaching artists how to work within an established pipeline and meet expectations of a production as well as knowledge in what recruiters look for in a digital portfolio, resume, and interview. I have years of experience volunteering in teaching children 12+ and young adults in a classroom setting as I grew up in a home where my mother taught the arts both privately and in a high school setting, and I also have experience guiding new employees at my current workplace through their mentorship program as they adjust to the expectations of an animation studio pipeline.
