"I have a deep love for teaching biology and helping students feel confident in a subject that can sometimes feel overwhelming. I earned my Master’s in Curriculum and Teaching from Boston University and my Bachelor’s in Biology from Trinity College, where I focused on cellular and molecular biology. My background blends a strong foundation in science with years of classroom and one-on-one teaching experience, which allows me to explain complex topics in a clear, approachable way!

For the past several years, I’ve taught high school biology at multiple levels, including AP Biology, Honors Biology, and an Advanced Biotechnology course I designed myself. I’ve worked closely with students preparing for the AP Biology exam, helping them strengthen their understanding of key concepts like cellular processes, genetics, and evolution while also building the critical thinking and data analysis skills that the AP curriculum emphasizes. My goal is always to make biology feel engaging and logical—showing students how the pieces connect rather than just memorizing facts.

Before that, I taught summer science courses and worked as a chemistry teaching assistant in college, where I led review sessions and created practice materials to help students succeed.
