"Hello! My name is Kaylee and I'm currently studying Biochemistry on the pre-med track at the University of California, San Diego. I graduated as Valedictorian of my high school and was one of the 16 students in the world to receive a perfect score on the 2023 AP Calculus BC examination! Calculus is one of the subjects I feel most passionate about and can never get enough of. I took both AP Calculus AB and BC throughout high school, receiving a 5 on both examinations, and completed Multivariable Calculus at UCSD. Therefore, I've sufficiently familiarized myself with the AP course material to provide supplemental instruction as well as exam preparation adequately.

I have tutoring experience after working with students K-12 at Mathnasium for over a year. During my time at this math learning center, I provided instruction to groups of 3-4 students and one-to-one tutoring for higher-level math such as geometry, algebra, and pre-calculus. This job opportunity has helped me adapt to the different learning styles of my students and collaborate to accommodate to their needs.

Utilizing my passion for Calculus, I'd love to help my students feel more confident in their abilities and even learn to develop their own little spark in Calculus. I firmly believe in the importance of understanding mathematical concepts rather than just memorizing the steps of how to solve different variations of a problem. My main goal is for my students to not only know how to solve the given problems but also understand the reasoning behind them.
