"I am a NYC-based history and social sciences teacher with 13 years in the classroom and over 8 years as a tutor. Before teaching, I spent 8 years on Capitol Hill as a policy advisor, so when I cover government and politics, I don’t just talk theory—I show students how things actually play out in the real world. I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching (certified in New York) and a Master of Public Policy. At my independent school in Manhattan, I guide 9th graders through a social science course I designed from the ground up to introduce sociology, economics, political science, and public health.
