"I have been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2012. I received my masters in Behavior Analysis in 2012 from Simmons University, and I am currently pursuing my PhD in Applied Behavior Analysis there as well. I have a background in special education. I first worked with deaf blind adolescents at a residential school, helping the students gain independence with daily self-care tasks and leisure skills. When I got my masters degree, I moved to working with children and adults with autism, ADHD, and other developmental and intellectual disabilities in their homes, schools, and clinic settings using a behavioral framework. Currently, I work as a professor at Simmons University, teaching masters-level students in behavior analysis while I work toward my PhD. My research interests include maximizing student learning outcomes using fluency-based and generative instruction methods (basically, how can we teach better so students learn better?).

I am eager to use my skills in to teach executive functioning skills, self-management, or anything that you would like to improve on. I take a behavioral approach, meaning I assess student motivation to learn the skill, provide ample practice opportunities, and ensure that the student is acquiring the skill through frequent assessment and data collection. I love to find ways to make learning fun and enjoyable for both the learner and the teacher! I have skills working with young children all the way through adults, so I am happy to help any student!
