"As a Doctoral Research Scholar in Biomedical Engineering, I bring both academic excellence and real-world experience to my tutoring. With dual degrees in biomedical engineering, a minor in applied mathematics, and multiple published papers, my work spans everything from orthopedic implant design at Zimmer Biomet to machine learning applications in diagnosing diabetic complications. I’ve even led a patent for treating neonatal jaundice using sunlight in developing countries. These experiences allow me to not only teach math, science, and engineering concepts—but to connect them directly to the real-world problems they help solve.

I’ve mentored and tutored students of all backgrounds and abilities, from nursing and STEM undergrads to high schoolers and even international students—like a peer in Germany I helped succeed in physics despite a language barrier. My experience includes five years as a peer mentor, substitute teaching MATLAB to freshman engineers, and tutoring across disciplines like anatomy, physiology, calculus, thermodynamics, and even percussion. I specialize in tailoring my teaching style to the student’s learning needs—whether that’s visual, hands-on, metaphor-based, or something entirely outside the box.
