"Before completing my degree at Western Governors University, I studied at Southern Illinois University, where my interest in leadership and business first took shape. I now hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and am currently pursuing my MBA at WGU. With more than fifteen years of leadership experience in the finance industry, I’ve learned that business concepts come alive when they’re connected to real-world application—and that’s exactly how I teach. My goal is to make topics like business administration, leadership, and basic finance both approachable and relevant so students gain confidence in their understanding and skills.

Throughout my career, I’ve advanced from managing a small regional bank branch to serving as a Vice President for the largest financial institution in the United States. I also spent several years in sub-prime lending as a branch manager and underwriter. Along the way, I’ve earned multiple performance awards and had the privilege of coaching and training new managers—helping them build leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills that extend far beyond the workplace.
