"Hello! I'm Leann and I am an experienced and enthusiastic Social Sciences teacher with nearly 2 decades of experience in both public and private school teaching. I bring years of experience in public policy and government advocacy work in addition to my classroom teaching. I am passionate about helping my students understand global history, politics and government, having taught AP U.S. Government and Politics, AP Comparative Government and Politics, as well as U.S. History, World History, including ancient civilizations to the modern era, African American History, Geography, Criminal Justice, and Psychology. I've taught many different students with a variety of learning styles and am adept at helping students discover what works best for them to learn and be able to apply the knowledge they have gained. I have years of AP teaching experience and find it very rewarding to be able to help students prepare for the AP exam and go forward with confidence in their ability.

I have taught both middle school and high school and have accumulated a wealth of educational resources to help my students achieve their goals. I am a certified secondary education teacher focused on providing a productive tutoring experience for all of my students.
