"Hi, I'm Steve! Looking forward to meeting you soon. I have been a Certified K-12 teacher for over 15 years and I have taught in Middle/High School classrooms in many states and now I tutor/teach mostly online. I have taught all levels of US History, Government, Geography as well as World History.

I am new to Wyzant but I have been tutoring online for the past 5 years and have built up a lot of great resources for English Literature, American Literature, ACT Reading, and Admittance essays as well as many Writing prep courses. I have tons of resources for Reading as well and I am sure I have a short story, Novel, or Poem that will grab your child's attention.

I LOVE to help students of all ages to understand these subjects in a new way.

As a lifelong student, I understand the struggles that many of these subjects can cause and will strive to help in any way I can. I believe you learn more when you have fun and feel little pressure so I strive to make my tutoring sessions fun, very useful, and as interesting as possible. I still remember my favorite teachers much more than I remember any lessons they taught me so I go above and beyond to help you not only learn the subject manner but help you to be able to use it in a productive manner and to remember what you learn.
