"Hello! My name is Namulun, and I am an experienced tutor with specialties in science (specifically chemistry) and math. I am currently an undergraduate freshman double majoring in Chemistry and Computer Science at the Honors College of Rutgers University, and I graduated Stuyvesant High School in NYC with a 4.0 GPA, ranking in the top 10% of my graduating class. Among the classes I have taken/am currently taking are AP French Language, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Calculus BC, Organic Chemistry + Lab, Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Intro to CS, and more.

My professional experience includes interning with the Bandosz research group at the City College of New York to develop sustainable electrocatalysts for hydrogen fuel cells, collaborating with the Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory at Columbia University to create an independent research project studying lead (Pb) levels in soil across northern NJ, and using my knowledge of coding languages like Python in the context of scientific data analysis and beyond.

I have around 2 years of experience tutoring children ages 6-13 through my time volunteering as a piano tutor with the Do Re Mi Project, and throughout high school (and continuing into the present) I frequently provided assistance and peer tutoring in a multitude of subjects. It has been incredibly rewarding and fulfilling to watch my students grow in ways they never thought they could have and achieve their fullest potential through tutoring, and it is my goal to continue to be the bridge between prospective students and their success on Wyzant.
