"I have been tutoring students for over thirty years. I completed my doctoral degree in education in September of 2021. After living in Puerto Rico for 14 years and having traveled to Mexico and the Dominican Republic, I moved to the United States. Since we left America when I was three years old, Spanish and English both became native languages for me. While living in Puerto Rico, I tutored a taught at the American Military Academy.

I moved to America in 1981, at the age of twenty. I tutored college students while attending David Lipscomb University. In the years that followed, I taught and tutored for the Bedford County Adult Education Department. I also tutored private students. Since 2009, I have completed a Bachelor's degree as well as a Master's degree in Education. I would like the opportunity to help you with your studies. Our first meet and greet will be free of charge. I require a two-hour cancellation notice and will be happy to reschedule our time when a conflict arises.

I have years of experience teaching and tutoring Spanish, ESL, Math, Science, English grammar, reading, writing, and pronunciation. I will work diligently with you to ensure that your conversational skills are improved and will tailor our time to meet your specific needs.

Living in Spanish-speaking countries for the majority of my childhood has had language fluency as a reward. I attended elementary and middle school in the public schools on the island, as well as the Universidad Interamericana. In the years since, I have worked with groups and individuals who had as a goal to speak Spanish.
