"Hello! I'm Zeina, and I graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences. I’m currently a medical student on my way to becoming a doctor! I’ve been tutoring since 2018, beginning during my undergraduate years and continuing through medical school. Teaching has always been one of the most rewarding parts of my academic journey, it allows me to give back, reinforce my own learning, and stay connected to the subjects I love. As a current medical student, I value the flexibility of online teaching, which enables me to reach and support students from diverse backgrounds while providing personalized, high-quality instruction.
My tutoring experience spans both in-person and online settings, covering a wide range of subjects and student levels. At Brilliant Grades (2021–2022), I provided one-on-one and small group virtual sessions for elementary and middle school students in math and science, working with about 10–12 students weekly. At the Medical College of Wisconsin, I served as an Academic Enhancement Tutor and Mentor (2023–2025), helping medical and master’s students with Step 1 &2 preparation, Pathophysiology, Anatomy and Physiology. Previously, at Texas A&M University, I tutored student-athletes in advanced science and math courses and led Supplemental Instruction sessions for large groups in Biology and Chemistry. I was also an undergraduate teaching assistant for Organic Chemistry, Biology, and Chemistry.
My teaching approach emphasizes conceptual understanding, active engagement, and adaptability. I focus on identifying each student’s strengths, learning style, and goals to tailor my lessons accordingly. Whether explaining complex biochemical pathways or simplifying foundational algebra, I aim to make learning both clear and enjoyable. Ultimately, my goal is to help every student build confidence, develop strong study habits, and reach their full academic potential." less...
