"With over a decade of experience as an educator, I am deeply committed to fostering active learning and reducing stress in the biological sciences and chemistry. My goal is to make classes enjoyable and help students connect their knowledge with opportunities in academia or industry. Holding master's degrees from the University of Kansas in Cell, Molecular, and Developmental Biology, and from Cairo University in Environmental Toxicology, along with a Bachelor's degree from Ain Shams University in Zoology and Chemistry, I bring a diverse academic background to my teaching endeavors.

During my tenure as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Kansas, I facilitated student learning in courses such as Biol 257, 547, 154, and 150. Using collaborative case studies, interactive discussions, and practical applications, I aimed to simplify complex concepts and engage students actively in the learning process.

My passion for creating a supportive environment for underrepresented students is evident in my efforts to assist a military veteran returning to education after a 15-year hiatus. Recognizing her unique challenges, including a language barrier, I provided tailored support and connected her with Spanish-speaking peers to facilitate her integration into the academic community.

Continuing my commitment to professional development, I pursued additional studies in human resources management, business administration, and management at the American University in Cairo.
