"I am currently an undergraduate at UC San Diego pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and my academic background has given me a strong foundation in biological sciences and mathematics. My coursework strengthened my understanding of genetics, physiology, Calculus BC, and statistical reasoning. These subjects form the areas that I tutor. I earned a 790 on the SAT Math section, a 35 on ACT Math, and a 5 on both AP Precalculus and Calculus BC.

Beyond academic tutoring, I have experience helping students navigate the college admissions process. I have supported high school seniors with essay development and understanding what admissions reviewers look for. Through this mentorship, I helped five students gain admission to UCLA, UC Berkeley, and UC Irvine. With exposure to admissions expectations of UC and Common App institutions, I guide students in presenting their interests and goals clearly. My approach is patient and practical, helping students gain confidence while developing skills needed for long-term success.

My tutoring experience spans over 200 hours, working with high school students in one-on-one and small-group settings. I focus on building conceptual understanding rather than memorization, especially in mathematics, where helping students structure their thought process is essential. I emphasize clarity and connection in biology, guiding students to see how systems and mechanisms relate.
