"I have been a college counselor and consultant working with students on the college process for the past 23 years. I have worked with inner city students in both Boston and NYC, private school and competitive public school students in NYC, as well as consulting with a diverse array of students across the US and internationally.

I achieved my MSEd in School Counseling from Hunter College and am currently an Adjunct Professor for the school. I work full time as Director of College Counseling in a top NYC public school and offer new counselors a three-day program over the summer to build their college counseling skills. As a member of NACAC (National Association for College Admissions Counseling) I have also been working alongside other counselors from NYS and the NYC DOE to incorporate a college counseling component into counseling graduate programs across New York.

Over the course of my 15 years as a college counselor I have worked with all different types of students and have made myself knowledgeable in every area of college counseling. I am a generalist that is seasoned working with everyone from undecided students applying to liberal arts based programs, to those looking to play NCAA sports, auditioning for theater/music programs, or creating portfolios for art schools. I have ample experience assisting with the financial aid process and scholarship applications as well.

The bulk of my assistance as a college consultant is working with students on choosing colleges, writing essays, organizing their applications, preparing for visits and interviews, and analyzing financial aid packages.
