"I just completed my MA in Art Education with thesis on addressing social justice in the art classroom. I have completed all coursework for Art Ed certification including graduate coursework in reading, writing, media criticism, film, Chicano & Latin American art, & children's literature. I have 18 years teaching at the university level including 7 years teaching film & media studies in the Electronic Media & Film Dept at Towson Univ. This included History of Film with an advanced writing component. I have 8 years teaching English at CCBC - from developmental writing to ENGL 102. This included grammar, literature criticism, essay writing, research & citation. I have 8 years teaching in the Art & Art History Dept at Towson Univ. - teaching Modern Art, Traditions in American Ptg, Drawing, Painting, & Design. I also taught for two years in the Art History Dept. at MICA. I taught Art Matters (a freshman seminar) and Modern Art. I am well versed in research methods and citations - MLA & APA style.

I am currently a museum educator with the Baltimore Museum of Industry working with mostly elementary students on activities and conducting tours. I am versatile and can help a variety of students on many types of projects from basic grammar to essays, critical writing, research papers and art or film projects.
