"I am an experienced college instructor from Indiana having taught at both a community college and four year institutions - Purdue University. I have taught a wide variety of students, from the traditional students directly from high school, to those older students, many of them re-training following unemployment. I have also taught in the state prisons in Ohio and Indiana. I also have twenty plus years working with individuals with disabilities in both individual and small group settings, as well as providing training for the staff of these organizations. Teaching is my passion and it is here I am most comfortable. My gift is the ability to infect my students with my passion so they become MOTIVATED LEARNERS, what every teacher yearns for.

I have a greater than average command of the English language because I read daily and have excellent writing skills. I understand that an effective way to gain command of the English language is to both read it and write it daily. This is the only way to enhance one's mastery of the language.
