"I am a 2019 graduate with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Automotive Engineering. During my undergraduate career, I have served as an individual tutor through my school's tutoring center and as a teaching assistant for an upper division mechanical engineering course. As an individual tutor, I worked one on one with students struggling in Physics I & II every week. In addition to working on concepts, I tried to bring incorporate real world examples (electronic circuits on a breadboard, for example) to help bridge theory and application. As an undergraduate teaching assistant, I held office hours for a class of 160 students in Numerical Methods. I also held two review sessions before examinations with example problems.

Outside of the classroom, I was a resident assistant (RA) for two years. I served as a mentor, advisor, and friend to a hall of 40 students. I held fun and engaging programs for the entire building. I assisted building residents with any problems, academic or personal, they encountered and provided the appropriate resources and aid.
