"I received a First Class degree in Modern History from the University of Oxford and a PhD in History from Yale University. I have worked as a college tutor at the University of Oxford and have taught undergraduate and graduate classes for over 15 years in Britain, Germany and the United States.

Working in higher education has given me the privilege of mentoring a diverse array of high school, college and university students and helping them fulfill their potential. In addition to teaching, I have published and edited three books, and worked as editor for an internationally leading history journal. I am therefore well used to consulting with students and authors to refine their thinking, hone their prose, and deliver the highest quality university applications and research projects.
