"I am Nia, a passionate and devoted tutor. I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in English, and a minor in Political and Behavioral Science. My love for tutoring sparked when I started tutoring neighbors and classmates as a child. While in college, my interest in tutoring grew. Seeing a student's growth and love for learning, motivates me to continue to work hard and provide the best service. My lessons are designed based on a student's learning style. I strive to build students confidence in what they are learning.

I have three years of tutoring experience at the college level. I specialize in developing students' reading and writing skills. I have also worked as a 7th grade Reading and Language Arts teacher. While as a teacher, I gained experience with ESL students. I have experience with various age groups and learning levels. I also enjoy working with students on their public speaking skills and proofreading essays.
