"Hello, my name is Kayla! I am currently an undergraduate attending Rutgers University under the 6-year Pharm D. Program. I graduated from Bergen County Academies, which was ranked one of the best public high schools in America by Niche Rankings. I have a deep interest in many subjects such as Chemistry, Math, and Biology, and am trying to delve deeper into my Pharmacy major to work towards attaining my degree. Throughout the past years, I've realized my passion for teaching and simply helping individuals get better in a subject that they wish to excel in. I try my best to get to really get to know all of my students on a personal level to help cater to their particular needs and their best learning styles. I will always try to encourage in all different types of formats to familiarize them with their own habits, and assign homework correspondingly.

In terms of tutoring experience, I started tutoring my freshman year in high school when beginning a program at my non-profit organization called Literacy in Touch. Inspired by my love for reading and connecting with younger children, I formed a group of 20 or more tutors my age as well as over 30 students to match them with and made a comprehensive 6-week program to teach them their requested subjects and have weekly reading sessions as well. Additionally, I tutored numerous kids in my neighborhood all of my senior year and worked through Mathnasium during this time. Furthermore, I tutored recently for my first semester at Varsity Tutors in Math, English, ACT, SAT, Chemistry, and Korean.
