"Curiosity sparked my journey into tech, but what kept me going was the thrill of solving problems, and helping others do the same. I hold both a Bachelor's and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the William Peace University, graduating with distinction. In addition to my formal education, I’ve earned certifications in Python, Full-Stack Web Development, and Data Science, allowing me to stay current in a fast-changing field. These qualifications enable me to tutor confidently in areas such as Python, Java, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, R, Algorithms, and Data Structures.

For the past 11 years, I’ve served as a Computer Science lecturer at Montreat College, where I’ve taught undergraduate courses in programming, systems design, and software engineering. I have worked with students across a broad spectrum, from high schoolers enrolled in dual-credit programs to adult learners returning to upskill. I’ve helped students prepare for AP Computer Science exams, develop web applications, and tackle tough university-level assignments. One of my proudest accomplishments was mentoring a student team through a semester-long capstone project, which went on to win regional recognition for innovation. My real-world experience also includes working with curriculum design teams to revamp our CS fundamentals track to emphasize project-based learning.
