"Hi, I’m Rosemary. I graduated from Bellarmine magna cum laude with a Bachelor’s degree in nursing. While at Bellarmine, I did tutor for some nursing classes for about a year during my senior year.

I have a wide range of experience. I started out as a CNA in the hospital during college. I fell in love with the hospital setting and critical care, so when I graduated, I moved into the ICU as a RN. I then did 2 years in the OR, learning to circulate and scrub as a RN. I went back to the ICU, as I knew this was my true home. After a few years, I wanted to branch out into management, so I became an assistant nurse manager on a medical-surgical floor. I did this for about 2 years, when the travel nurse bug hit. I decided I wanted to take a risk and travel far to experience new scenery and new hospitals. I traveled to New Mexico and Indiana for a few contracts. I finally came back home to become a nurse manager, which is my current position. I am over an ICU/CCU currently, and it is challenging, but very rewarding.

I would like to bring my knowledge to any nursing student that needs help. I will focus on ways that you best learn and incorporate that into tutoring. You are the future of nursing!" less...
