"Hi, I'm Sujatha and I have a Masters degree Computer Applications.

I bring with me 9 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer, writing code for printers and networking devices. I have mentored FIRST robotics teams (of middle and high school teams) for over 4 years. I teach at a public high school - introductory Computer Programming classes in Python, as well as AP Computer Science Principles (Javascript), AP Computer Science A (Java), and Robotics Programming. I have taught online lessons in collaboration with Stanford University - introductory computer science classes to high school students, and professional adults wishing to learn about CS.

I enjoy teaching computer science and computer programming and seeing the students eyes sparkle when they learn how coding works! I have worked with students from all grade levels in middle and high school (and also some working professionals who need wanted intro to this field). I have worked with students in special needs plans as well, like IEPs and 504s.

My area of expertise would be introductory Computer science concepts and intor-advanced Computer programming languages - Java, C, C++, Python, Javascript, HTML, SQL. I hold a CTE Teaching License in the state of Oregon. I can work with students in understanding the content better and offer guidance with assignments.
