I have a strong background in competitive debate, with four years of experience competing at national, state, and regional levels. During my time as a competitor, I was a multiple-time finalist at local tournaments, a conference champion, and a two-time finalist at the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA) National Tournament. In 2021, I was honored with the Top Debate Speaker Award and ranked Top 16 nationally — a truly awesome way to conclude my competitive debate career.

I’m an active member and alumni of the National Speech & Debate Association and continue to stay connected with my local debate community. After graduation, I mentored high school debaters across the country through a nonprofit organization that provided free resources and coaching. Today, I offer private mentoring for students looking to sharpen their debate skills and build confidence in speaking and critical thinking.

For me, debate is about more than just competition. It’s a powerful tool for finding your voice, building community, and learning how to ask tough questions. I’ve seen firsthand how debate can transform lives — which is why I’m passionate about helping students grow, both as debaters and as thinkers.
