"Hello! My name is Morgan, and I’m a student at Dartmouth College studying Computer Science and Economics with a minor in Mathematics. I have a deep passion for helping students build confidence through learning by making challenging subjects feel approachable, engaging, and meaningful.
In high school, I ranked 15th out of over 500 students and completed over 15 AP courses, including AP Calculus, Latin, Physics, and U.S. Government. I was honored by the College Board for my high scores as an African American and first-generation student committed to academic excellence. I’ve also attended prestigious programs and global conferences, including at Yale University and with WFUNA, where I advocated for the importance of equitable education for children everywhere.
Over the past three years, I’ve worked with more than 30 students in both one-on-one and group settings. I’ve helped elementary students master foundational skills—earning a 100% pass rate on the Tennessee TCAP exam in Math and Reading—and regularly tutor high school students in subjects ranging from Algebra 1 to Calculus. I tailor each session to the student’s learning style and needs, using proven retention-based methods like active recall and spaced repetition to ensure lasting understanding. I focus not only on helping students get the right answers, but on helping them truly grasp the "why" behind the material.
I believe that every child deserves access to quality education, regardless of their background. With the right support and approach, any student can thrive. My goal is to create a welcoming, encouraging space where students feel heard, challenged, and empowered to succeed—not just in the classroom, but in life.
If you or your child are looking for a tutor who’s experienced, supportive, and results-driven, I’d love to connect. Let’s build knowledge and confidence—one session at a time!" less...
