"I was a paraprofessional for OKCPS for 8 years before I became a teacher. I have worked with grades Kindergarten-6th grade. I have obtained 2 associate degrees and one bachelors degree. I am currently taking a class on the science of reading and love helping children on the journey to reading. I have tutored 4 children so far and loved it. I hope to continue helping students achieve their learning goals. I have tutored students one on one as high as 3rd grade. I mainly tutor students who are in Kindergarten and 1st grade. I tutor them in letter recognition and letter sounds, students who are English Language Learners, focusing on helping children learn how blend their letters together to make sounds which will help them learn how to read. Letters make sounds, sounds make words and learning words helps build reading stamina. I love helping students with their writing. I have written many papers and have received all straight A's with them. I have helped people prepare speeches for public speaking. I love early childhood the best.
