"Hi, I'm Mica! I am a professor of economics at a college in Pennsylvania. The joy of teaching is what drove me to pursue my PhD and is what drives me to continue tutoring. I attended Quinnipiac University where I received my B.S. in Economics and was fortunate to have had some truly inspiring professors. They showed me the positive impact a professor can have on their students and still serve as an inspiration for me in my career. After undergrad, I joined AmeriCorps for a year to build houses with Habitat For Humanity before attending the University of New Hampshire for my PhD in Economics specializing in Health Economics, International Economics, and College Teaching. Over the past 10 years, I have had the pleasure of teaching many courses from Principles of Micro- and Macroeconomics to Game Theory, Environmental Economics, Econometrics, Public Economics, International Trade, and Health Economics.

On this site, I have tutored students from high school sophomores to college seniors and had a great time along the way. I have tutored high school students for the AP exam in both micro- and macroeconomics with good success; I have helped many college students with principles of micro- and macroeconomics; and I have helped many upper-level college students with understanding the intuition and technical aspects econometrics (where I have deep experience of both Stata and R).
