"Hello! My name is Krystal and I am a dedicated educator with a heart for helping students thrive. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and an Associate’s degree in Liberal Arts. I started pursuing a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have been in education for 25 years, I am an avid lifelong learner with a professional edge and personal connection to my approach.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in several educational settings. I’ve taught English as a second language, provided specialized support as a dyslexia tutor, delivered online tutoring sessions, and homeschooled children through various stages of their academic development. These experiences have equipped me to work with a wide range of learners—from early elementary through high school. It is second nature for me to adapt my teaching methods to meet individual needs. I’m particularly experienced in building developmental skills, supporting struggling readers, and fostering independent learning habits.

My approach to tutoring is student-centered with individualized needs as a focus.
