I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Sciences with a minor in American Ethnic Studies and a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work, both from Kansas State University. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Park University, I obtained my Certificate in University Teaching from West Virginia University (WVU) while completing my Ph.D. in Human & Community Development. I began tutoring elementary school students during my high school years, then I continued tutoring high school students as an undergraduate before I began teaching and mentoring collegiate students professionally.
